Cinnamon Granola Cereal

Do you want to know what my kids miss? They miss cereal. They miss it so much that some of them have even asked for it for their birthday; kind of sad. I know cereal is incredibly convenient for breakfast, too bad it is not good for you.

To help my monkeys get over their cereal withdrawals I have come up with my own cereal. It is so easy to make and we love the way it tastes!

Cinnamon Granola Cereal
3 cup almonds
3 cup pecans
1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
½  cup sunflower seeds
½ cup pumpkin seeds
¼ cup sesame seeds
Cinnamon
Honey
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
Spread all ingredients except cinnamon and honey on a cookie sheet. Drizzle honey over the mixture and heavily season with cinnamon.
Place cookie sheet in the oven and cook for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes take out the cookie sheet and mix the cereal. Drizzle with honey and season with the cinnamon again. Cook for 20 more minutes.
You can eat it warm or store it in a container.

We eat ours with coconut milk or almond milk, sometimes we are even fancy and throw on some fresh fruit.
