Stronger, Leaner, More Fit You

I'm SO excited about this!! My husband and I have wanted to do this for some time now, but have finally put it all together. We want to invite you to join us in, "The Stronger, Leaner, More Fit You" challenge.

What is it? It’s a contest with a point system to encourage healthy eating (we will be following a paleo/Primal Blueprint/Smarter Science of Slim type nutritional plan, with our own twists), regular exercise and proper amounts of sleep. This is NOT a contest to lose weight, or just some stupid crash diet. This is a nutritional course that will hopefully stick with you for the rest of your life! It is an overall optimal health plan for anybody. It is gluten-free, awesome for diabetics, incredible for athletes, moms, dads, ANYBODY looking to get better health!!!

How do the points work? You can earn a point for each of the following: eating breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water every day, getting seven hours of sleep, and exercising at least five times a week. If you decide to do this, all the details will be provided.

How can you lose points? Junk food, soda, candy, laziness, etc.

How long does it last? We are starting on Sunday, March 24th and will go for nine weeks ending on Saturday, May 18th. We’ll be having guest bloggers writing articles during the contest to help you with understanding nutrition and an overall healthy lifestyle.

Now for the good part! There are going to be cash and other awesome prizes (trust me, you're going to want them!!). This is a contest sponsored by Total Financial Health, LLC so the cash prize will be sizeable and all prizes will be fun!

 Just a reminder, this is NOT a weight loss challenge. You possibly will lose weight, but what is more important is the loss of body fat. A person weighing 150lbs with a 50% body fat will look a lot different than a person weighing 150lbs with 20% body fat. So in addition to the point system you get a point for each % of body fat you lose by the end of the 9 weeks. We have a body fat testing machine at our home you can use, or you can use one from a gym.
