Mom's Balls

**I first posted this recipe several months ago, but under the name of "Fudge". Unfortunately I have never called it "Fudge", but have always called it "Mom's Balls". So I am reposting this with it's official name with the story of how this dessert got its unfortunate name is below.

As promised, here is a paleo recipe. This is one of my favorites, it's very fast, and SO yummy!! I don't really have a name for this, because when I first made them I made them into little balls, so naturally we called them "Mom's Balls".  The name has stuck no matter how many times I've tried to call them something different. I guess that's what I get for having a potty mouth.

1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup raw honey
1/2 cup raw cocoa powder
1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

Combine almond butter, coconut oil, honey, and cocoa powder in a food processor, then blend until smooth. Sprinkle in unsweetened shredded coconut, about 1/4 cup. Blend again. Line a glass pan with wax paper and spread the fudge evenly in pan, or scoop into ball shape onto a plate. Sprinkle additional coconut on top. Put into freezer. As soon as it is frozen you can eat it. This will melt, so don't leave it out.

If you are unfamiliar with any of these ingredients, then hang your head in shame, just kidding :). It took me awhile to become familiar with all of this stuff, you can find them at your local whole foods store.
