Asthma

Asthma is a subject that is near and dear to my heart. My son Ethan has had asthma for years. He had pneumonia when he was one and several times he has had bronchitis. After we kept coming in for wheezing attacks the doctor put two and two together and told us he has asthma and that there is nothing we can do about it and he would need to be on an inhaler for the rest of his life.

Little did that doctor know what a stubborn fool I am, and that I wasn't going to let my son spend his whole life like this.

So I started my homework on the medicine my son was prescribed, while my doctor kept insisting that there are NO side effects. I wasn't convinced about the medicine having no side effects and ended up reading the whole entire long, boring information packet that everyone throws out. He was correct, there were not any real big side effects, EXCEPT that if it is combined with another medicine (that my son was also prescribed to take) death could happen.

Needless to say, I started looking for other answers. I ended up reading all different kinds of books about diet and how it can help with all sorts of health issues. I started to change my family's diet (they were not very happy with me) by limiting dairy, grains and sugars.

We saw improvement, but he still had random asthma attacks. So my next step was to became a full fledged hippie. I delved into oils, herbs and all other kinds of hippie type stuff.

We saw LOTS of improvement, but he still was having an asthma attack a couple of times a year.

It wasn't until this year when we had him start taking DDR Prime that he hasn't had one asthma attack!! I am not exaggerating here, he literally has not had one wheeze or any asthma problems since taking the supplement.

DDR Prime is a liquid capsule or 30mL bottle containing:frankincense, wild orange, lemongrass, thyme, summer savory, clove and niaouli.  These oils are amazing alone, but when their forces combine, watch out, they'll knock your socks off!!

With all of this being said, asthma is a very serious condition and you need to be VERY careful with it. I keep an inhaler around just in case, but luckily we haven't had to use it. I want to emphasize how important diet is with asthma too; some of the big things to limit or just get rid of are dairy, grains and sugars.

I still like to run Breathe in our diffuser to help keep his lungs clear, especially during cold and flu season.
